You are wearing headphones and lying on a camp bed in a darkened room. You are taking part in a horror story where there is no cast. Only you few survivors, craving morphine, having dark dreams, under your grey blanket.

Haply Alien

Plot: Whatever the official purpose of your conference, it is revealed that this is just a cover for its secret purpose. Each person is an alien sleeper from a distant universe and collectively they must decide the fate of mankind. Should man be eliminated as a space pest or granted hyper-dimensionality.

Participation: It is full of “Hitchhikers Guide” type humour and participation involves making Alien greetings and gestures. Three people have to mime the evolution of man!

Aim: It’s great fun, but using some of the language of mindfulness, it is really about looking at other people with empathy.

Layout: For conferences with Cabaret or Theatre style seating.

Props: Alien IT system.

How to get to the Top..

---

Plot: Each delegate becomes a character who is very like themselves, except they are ruthlessly ambitious. They plan to get to the top of their field even if it involves topping their biggest rival.

Participation: Starts gently with inventing a character name. They join in with model building. Then they must find a suitable partner for their murderous plan. They circle each other, sizing them up. How do they know they can trust this equally ambitious person?

Aim: This witty parody delivers laughs and is designed make delegates aware that it’s better to work with people, not against them.

Layout: For conferences with Cabaret style seating.

Props: Character name badges, building bricks.
